Summary | 0000189: Added support for changing the order of amplifiers in Gipsa-gtec driver
Description | It is enabled by: m_bReorderAmplifiers(true) The provided code allows one to change the order in which the data is provided to the user. Now it is possible to have the same output order no matter how you switch on the amplifiers. This is an evolution on the recent feature that added support for amplifiers's names. I have added extra code that copies the data in the desired order.
Steps To Reproduce | Currently the order of amplifier is hard-coded. To complete the feature we need to add a checkbox for example: "Reorder amplifiers" and a textbox that will contain the order of amplifiers by serial. They should be comma separated for example.

Hi, thanks for the patch. Do you happen to have developed the corresponding GUI code by now? That'd help the integration. Alternatively, the driver code could sort the devices by their serial numbers. Of course that doesn't guarantee that the devices would be ordered as preferred, for example if two devices are selected from a larger set. |

Hi, There is no GUI currently. Also the driver was used only once in one of our experiments. So even if works correctly maybe it needs a bit more testing. I suggest that you leave it at the end of your backlog for now. |
