Problem that MITSAR EEG-202 connect with OpenviBE.

Post by kyungae »

Hello.
This is Kyungae who use MITSAR EEG-202.

These days, I try to connect MITSAR EEG-202 with OpenviBE.
However, I have a problem connecting MITSAR EEG-202 with OpenviBE.

When I install Openvibe-0.11.0-svn3052-src, I can't find MITSAR driver in OpenviBE.
When I run ../dist/ov-acquistion-server, there are several lists except MITSAR as follows;
Generic Oscillator
Generic Saw Tooth
Generic Raw File Reader
Generic Raw Telnet Reader
Brain Products BrainAmp Series
Brain Products amplfiiers (through BrainVision Recoder)
CTF/VSM MEG(unstable)
EGI NET Amps 300 (through AmpServer) (unstable)
Micromed SD LTM (through SystemPlus Evolution)
MindMedia NeXus32B
OpenEEG Modular EEG P2
TMSi Refa32B (unstable)
OpenAL audio capture (unstable)

Is there anyone can help me solve this problem?
Please tell me if anyone know this problem..

Thank you very much in advance.

Best,
Kyungae

Hi kyungae,

The MITSAR amplifiers drivers are not currently available with OpenViBE, as stated in the hardware support page.
A "beta" driver is being developed by members of the community. Like every contributions, it must be mature enough to be integrated (respect of the contribution rules, etc.).
We don't have the amplifier ourselves so the driver won't be supported by the INRIA dev team as we cannot test it.

The MITSAR driver is on its final phase to integration. Very few problems remain and we hope integrating it soon (openvibe 0.13.0 scheduled for 01/2012)
I'm afraid you will have to wait untill we integrate it in the SVN trunc.
