Dear friends,
Thanks for this wonderful forum. I am a completely newbie and my question is probably stupid.
I'm interested in measuring brain waves: average values, amplitude, slopes, etc.
Can I use any of the EEG devices described here? viewtopic.php?p=3251#p3251
Do each of the channels measures one type of wave?
Thank you everybody!!

Hello, fernan.left
we provide a list of EEG devices available for use with OpenViBE here: http://openvibe.inria.fr/supported-hardware/
As for the channels, each channel represents the whole brain activity on one specific area of brain, depending on where you place the electrode. In order to get an idea of how to interpret this activity, I recommend looking up some documents on basic BCI paradigms, such as P300, SSVEP and Motor Imagery.
Cheers

Thank you!! Any way to get estimations of neurochemical activity?
