This release comes with big a infrastructural update with the use of miniconda for the management of dependencies.
This means that OpenViBE has now a more modern and harmonised dependency management across platforms.
This notably enabled us to start supporting a long requested platform: MacOS !
It is not all beautiful yet on MacOS with the current graphical library and the advanced visualization boxes are not available yet but this is a great step forward.
This update also improves greatly support for various versions of linux operating systems.
Now that the build process is more stable, we are starting to migrate the graphical applications of OpenViBE from GTK-2 to Qt6/QML .
A few updates have also been introduces in this release:
- New box following the introduction of the new Shimmer driver in OpenViBE 3.5.0: PulseRateCalculator
- New Asymmetry Index Metabox
- LDA Classifier updated to be scale dependant
- Classifier trainer: add randomized k-fold in box settings (previously in configuration file)
