Application Installer

If you run a Windows machine and want to use OpenViBE right away you can simply download and run the provided installer.

Requires Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7.

Note: Although OpenViBE works on both 32 bit and 64 bit architectures, some third party drivers do not. If you want to use OpenViBE Acquisition Server you should prefer to have a 32bit Windows system.

Stable Source Code

OpenViBE source code is freely available and you can use it to build the software on Linux and Windows.

Before downloading the sources check out the List of supported platforms and architectures to ensure that your system is compatible.

Officially supported platforms are:

  • Windows XP and 7 (32bit)
  • Ubuntu Linux 10.4 LTS and 11.4 (32 and 64 bit)
  • Fedora Linux 14 and 13 (32 and 64 bit)

Note: If you wish to use OpenViBE with Emotiv Epoc headset you will have to build it from sources as the driver is not distributed in binary form.
