Problem with Emotiv EPOC

Post by amufti »

Hi everybody,

Right now, I am doing some research about BCI for my Final Project and using Openvibe with Neuroheadset Emotiv EPOC.

There's a problem on Openvibe-acquisition-server-dynamic.exe
it had no problem when I pressed the "connect" button, but the program suddenly stoped working.
i had no idea what happen, it's working correctly when i changed the driver to modular EEG.

this's a screenshot when the problem appeared,

Any help?

Best regards,

Hello amufti,

I can see that the Emotiv Control Panel is not running. This is necessary because OpenViBE connects to the headset by their proprietary software.

In order to help you further with your problem we will need some details about your installation. Which version of Windows 7 are you using? 32 or 64 bit? Which version of Emotiv EPOC research SDK do you have installed? Did you configure the driver to point to the right directory where the EPOC dll is located?
