Odd-looking EEG data

Post by COBE_Lab »

Not sure if this is the right place for this question, but I'll try..

We have recorded data using BrainVision v-amp, but when plotted the data do not resemble brain data, or even what we might expect from normal EEG "noise" data. Hoping someone has seen something like this before, and can help us figure out what is going on. I have posted two screenshots here:

Thanks!

Hi,

The values are effectively improbable. Do you find the problem?

To me the data looks strongly rectified (i.e. capped at some min, max, and sometimes 0). Did you record it with OpenViBE acquisition server or some other tool?

Cheers,
