I'm beginner in BCI. I have a plan to modify the original "p300-speller" such that the size of the matrix is "7 x 6" with my personal symbols", instead of alphnumeric characters. I knew that I have to change: P300 Speller Visualisation, p300-target.lua (I dont know what else? Please tell me). When I tested, rows and columns don't flash at all . What is the problem?
The keyboard layout and content are described in an xml file in dist/share/openvibe/applications/CoAdaptP300Stimulator.
You can set the CoAdaptP300_KeyboardLayout setting in P300AcquisitionConfig.conf to specify which keyboard layout to use, after editing yours.
Btw, nfoy seems to suggest implicitly you to use the CoAdapt speller. This is the newest P300 in OpenViBE and the one that is being developed at the moment. It may be challenging to catch people familiar with the original or the Inserm P300s, but you can try.
