Neurosky MindWave Raw Data

I am interested in purchasing the Neurosky MindWave device. Would I be able to view the raw data using OpenVibe and export it ex. in CSV format to use it in Matlab? Or do I necessary require to purchase Neurosky's Research tools to access the RAW data?
