Dear OpenVibe users,
Has anyone tried to do acquisition on EGI GES300 amplifier? It is on the list of supported acquisition devices with the status "unstable".
I have not managed to get it to work, so i wanted to ask a basic question: should I have AmpServer Pro SDK, or it can work with a standard AmpServer?
Any help regarding this amplifier would be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Pawel

Dear augustynowicz,

you indeed need to acquire the AmpServer Pro SDK for EGI, the standard AmpServer won't expose the data in realtime.

Hope this helps,
best regards,
Yann

Dear Openvibe community:

We are building a bio-feedback application, using EGI amplifier and nets, on a windows7.
So far, we have been operating with BCI2000 and interfacing that to Matlab, but when moving the protocol to a new pc, the setup fails, and is incredibly resisting to all our bug-fixing attempts.
it looks like openvibe has a good interface with matlab, and nice tutorials for this.
We are now therefore very tempted to move the setup to Openvibe, and forget about BCI2000.
We have the ampserverpro sdk installed on the machine acquiring the data ( a mac) from the EGI net.

Does anyone have built an Openvibe module to interface with the ampserverpro??
Also, if you are an EGI x Openvibe user, speak up, so as to know how big this sub-community is.
thanks a lot

Hello Michele,

Did you finally build OpenViBE through AmpServer with no problems ?

Sincerely,
Omer
