Hi
I'm working with the CSP BCI scenario and I was wondering if it was possible to detect the strength of the imagined hand movement using EEG signals and Openvibe ?
currently the scenario only classifies the imagined hand movements right or left .

Re: how to detect strength of hand movement in the BCI scena
Hi,
the classifier processor box returns additional outputs such as class probability that can be used as a strength guess. See the box manuals for trainer/processor boxes.
In theory, if we knew the strength of each training trial, we could build a regression model predicting this strength, but unfortunately its hard to extract such info from the user correctly in the first place.
