Destination Adress IP port Speller Selected Letter

Post by tonio112003 »

Hello!

I am trying to use the selected letter in the Speller P300 Online part as a command for an application.
For it, I need to send the data from the OpenVibe selection through the IP adress port.

Is there a box or a way to export the selected letter?

Hello tonio112003,

currently openvibe can communicate with external applications via VRPN protocol. You can use a VRPN Button Server in the scenario to export the currently selected letter (row and column, in the case of the P300 scenarios).

VRPN can be used over IP network.

Cheers

Thanks jlegeny!

I am a beginner with the software so I really appreciate your help.

In the Button VRPN Server, I have the peripheral name, there is where the name of the IP port goes I guess.

Now, I have two Volting Classifier boxes that are in charge of marking the selected row and column.
Those should be the inputs for the Button VRPN Server, am I right?

Then, I have in my Volting Classifer box (row) Result Class Label Base selected with OVTK_StimulationID label 01 and for Reject Class label OVTK_StimulationID label 00 and for the other Volting Classifer box (column); OVTK_StimulationID label 07 and for Reject Class label OVTK_StimulationID label 00.
Is that what I have to use as Button 1 and Button 2?

Thank you very much!
