EmoEngine-like with OpenViBE

Post by OoDeLally »

Hi,

I want to use the Emotiv Epoc with OpenViBE to create the same kind of classifier as the Emotiv EmoEngine.
What I mean is triggering actions with the headset.

I want my software to analyse the mental state of the user, and throw action when detected, just like the emoengine does. What sample BCI do I have to tune to get that behaviour ?

I've read that the current classifier only handles 2 classes. Does it mean 2 classes + 1 class for neutral ? Or does it mean 2 classes at all and I use 1 for neutral ?

I tried to tune the motor-imagery-csp BCI, but the result is not satisfying because the classifier keeps throwing class1 or class2 stimulation and never throws the reject stimulation.
Can't the reject stimulation be used as a neutral class ? if yes, how can I teach the classifier not to throw a class stimulation for any epoched data ?

Thank you very much.
