Post by rabir »

we are from Bangladesh starting our thesis on bci using software openvibe. This one is a great software but we could not know how the .gdf file is converted in binary or digital format to make a instruction for our computer.
Would anyone please help..

Hello and welcome on board Rabir !

I am not sure to understand what you need...
GDF is a file format for biosignal. In openViBE, you can store eeg data in GDF files.
The GDF file reader box reads the GDF file, and transmit the eeg data to other boxes. Basically, it is just buffers of EEG data, no instructions are sent to the computer at that moment.

Best regards
