Train CSP Spatial Filter Trainer with Multiple Files?

Post by KevMat »

Hi Forum,

I am new to OpenVibe and conducting BCI experiments.

I have multiple raw data files of left/right hand recorded. I have a total of 5 raw files.

I am using the mi-csp-2-train-CSP.xml scenario.

Can I use the scenario to train the CSP filter with all five raw files combined?

The default scenario saves the '.cfg' file and ends the scenario right afterwards.

Thanks for taking the time to read this! :D

Hello,
You can concatenate files with the concatenation signal box. However pay attention to stimulation. If you have a stimulation that starts the training of the csp at the end of each file, you must filter it on the first files and leave it on the last.

Thibaut or another forum user, how can I filter the files to exclude the stimulation that starts the training of the csp at the end of each file and leave it on the last?

I did run into that issue.

Thanks again!
