Error on PATH when connecting Emotiv

I am getting the following error when using the OpenVibe Acquisition Server with the Emotiv Headset.

Code: Select all

[  INF  ] Connecting to device [Emotiv EPOC]...
[ ERROR ] [INIT] Emotiv Driver: Failed to get the environment PATH.
[ ERROR ] Connection failed...
[  INF  ] Disconnecting.
The Emotiv Control Panel and TestBench are working fine. I am using the Emotiv Research Edition SDK_v1.0.0.5-PREMIUM, on a 64-bit Windows 7 machine. I had set the path in the Driver Properties to the Emotiv Research Edition SDK folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Emotiv Research Edition SDK_v1.0.0.5-PREMIUM) as required.

What is the reason for this and how can it be fixed?

Hi,

Check if the path to Emotiv if it actually contains the dlls EDK.dll, etc.

Enter the dos name of the path: "Program Files" expands to PROGRA~1 and "Program Files (x86)" expands to PROGRA~2

You should enter the path in: my computer -> properties -> advance -> Environment variables -> system -> "path"
