Hi everyone.
I'm interested in implementing an EEG data acquisition system. I have to use a Biosemi device as EEG acquisition hardware. I just want to know
if it's easy to develop a new Driver for this kind of device with OpenVibe (or if someone already implemented a Drive for Biosemi Active 2).
Best regards.
Miguel
Biosemi driver
Re: Biosemi driver
Dear miguel,
thank you for your interest in our software and welcome on this forum. Several people already asked about the existence of a biosemi driver, leading me to the assumption that this is a reasonable feature request. Unfortunately I am not aware of anyone doing such development at the moment. Developing a new driver for OpenViBE is rather easy... But the difficulty is closely related to how you can access the raw data from the device... The best would be to have an SDK provided by the manufacturer.
If you want to do this driver, just have a look to the dedicated tutorial... And don't forget to keep us posted
Thank you,
Yann
