What is the computer configuration that the Matlab box needs

Hello,

OpenViBE is really useful to set up a BCI system. However, some problems of matlab box have confused me for a long time.
The matlab box is OK on Win7(32 bits) with 32 bits matlab 2012a, but, how about on other windows systems, e.g., Win XP, Win7(64 bits), Win10(32 bits), or Win10(64 bits)?
Is it available with other Matlab versions, e.g., Matlab 2013, ,,,Matlab 2015?
These Matlab versions must be 32 bits, right?

Thanks. :D

Hi Shelldream,

Windows XP is no longer supported with newer OpenViBEs (it was supported up to 1.0.1). For later OpenViBEs and the Matlab box, any Windows from 7 to 10 should be usable, be it either 32bit or 64bit. Designer itself is compiled as 32bit, which means that it'll want to use 32bit versions of the Matlab libraries (-> 32bit Matlab components need to be installed and pointed to, by the box). We are currently working on a 64bit Designer which will allow co-operation with a 64bit Matlab.

I'll clarify this on the tutorial page,
