sLoreta or any Inverse solution algorithm

Post by Brasig »

Hi,
I' m new to BCI. I'm in the dark for weeks  If any one can shine some light on this please HELP .
I'm looking for a doc with sloreta or any Inverse solution algorithm (calculus details, matrix coefficients calculus, ...etc).

I read many good papers about sloreta.
The papers shows me high level steps (...a matrix has a quadratic form...etc)
I guess, Details are too trivial for experts. Not for me, I can't find the missing steps.

I need to calculate matrix coefficient by hands before using a library doing it for me ? How to feed my matrix and obtain voxel's current...?

Thank you for your time

Dear Brasig,

thank you for your interest in OpenViBE and welcome on this forum. Indeed, you must have a model telling how the currents go through the brain to the surface. Someone with more valuable knowledge in inverse models will give you a more detailed answer soon. Please stay tuned.

Hello Brasig,

details on sLORETA transfer matrix computation can be found in article

Congedo Marco. Subspace Projection Filters for Real-Time Brain Electromagnetic Imaging
IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Engineering, 53(8), 1624-34, 2006

You can download the paper at
http://sites.google.com/site/marcocongedo

The only difficulty is to have a leadfield matrix to start with.

Dear Brasig,

what was this ?

Did Marco's answer solve your problem ?
