You're a computational neuroscientist with a deep knowledge of the brain and a passion for working on breakthrough brain computer interface (BCI) technology. You are interested in how to decode neuro activities using physiological sensors including optical, electrical, and magnetic sensors and state of the art machine learning algorithms. At Oculus Research you'll be involved in building cutting-edge prototypes and user experiences that explore the future of virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR). Work alongside expert research scientists, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers and software engineers to create the technology that makes VR and AR pervasive and universal. Join the adventure of a lifetime as we make science fiction real and change the world.

Responsibilities:

Design and adapt BCI paradigms and montages for AR devices
Perform data analysis and modeling of multisensory data set, including EEG, fNIRS, and fMRI
Correlate multisensory data with cognitive functions
Working with leading academic researchers on advancing our knowledge of the brain and apply to BCI
Collaborate in a team environment across multiple scientific and engineering disciplines, making the architectural tradeoffs required to rapidly deliver BCI prototypes
Learn constantly, dive into new areas with unfamiliar technologies, and embrace the ambiguity of AR/VR problem solving

Minimum Qualifications:
Currently has or is in the process of obtaining a Ph.D. in computational neuroscience, or biomedicine, bioengineering, or experimental psychology with neuroscience focus
2+ years experience with neuroimaging techniques including EEG and fMRI
2+ years experience with statistical data modeling of biomedical data
Proven track record of software development, including shipping one or more products
Communication skills and demonstrated experience working across disciplines to drive optimal solutions
