Shooter application

Hi,
I am now using OpenViBE and BrainProducts to try a 3-class classifier application, as I would like to develop a robot application in further stage.
I would like to ask can the Ssvep: Mind Shooter be load on Window 7 computer, as I currently can't run the SSVEP scenario and application ( ov-ssvep-shooter). From the online documentation in OpenViBE, it said
''SSVEP stimulator needs to be able to run in VSync mode. This is available readily in Windows XP and on Linux systems with compositing extension disabled. ''
Is this the reason I can't run the application?
