Best eeg headset on the market today (price $1000-$5000)

Hi guys, im new around here and well i need to buy a eeg to do a research on psychology. So i've been looking around i decided to buy emotiv epoc the research edition, but i dont know if there are other eeg headset better than this one. I want to see the attention and engement of the people when do something, like when there are reading, see a movie and something like that. For now is'nt for medical research its only to see attention, memory, learning, etc that correlect with some brain waves. So what is the best one right now on 2012 and your experience with that. I only have a budget between 1000 to 5000, not more than that... Thanks

In my opinion and with your budget EPOC will be the best for research.
But if you want to use it in people be attention that using it more than 30 minutes is very uncomfortable.
You also have another that will be in the market at beggining of 2013 - the MUSE from InteraXon.
It is only $200, it seems comfortable but it only have 4 sensors (EPOC as 16).
