Hi, I'm about to receive a built openeeg device, and I would like to start development before actually receiving the device.
So I'm in need of a .dat sample file of recorded measurement, is there someone here who could provide me with one or point to a place
where I could download sample data in p3 format.

you should consider asking for this file at the OpenEEG mailing list ; people involved in the specs of the P3 protocol are there and /probably/ not on the OpenViBE forum
By the way, the OpenViBE driver for ModularEEG is P2, not P3 ; I think it is backward compatible but you'd better check it on the specs or ask the OpenEEG mailing list.

The openEEG modularEEG as well as the Olimex SMT-EEG use the P2 protocol.
The P3 protocol is not backward compatible and has never really been used because it isn't supported by BioExplorer.
