Trigger channel in v-AMP and OpenViBE

Dear all,
Apologies for what may well be a rudimentary question. We are using Brain Product's v-AMP, part of the actiCAP Xpress bundle for EEG recordings. We can record 16 channels of EEG data in OpenViBE, but we are having trouble in seeing and recording a trigger sent via PsychoPy—a Python based alternative to E-Prime. Using PsychoPy, we have tested the parallel port through which the trigger is sent—and we can see that it is operating as expected. However, we fail to see any activity in OpenViBE.
Have other people experienced this problem? Could one point to documentation for setting up a trigger channel in OpenViBE.
