Hello,
These four boxes are used to compute the average band power of the signal, using a sliding window scheme.
First the signal is band-pass filter in the frequency band of interest (not shown on your picture), then the signal is epoched (first box on your picture), in time windows of 1s, with 1/16s of overlap between consecutive time windows (sliding window scheme), then the signal is squared (to compute the power of the signal - second box), then averaged over the epoch (i.e., over the 1s time window - third box), and then averaged over the last 4 epochs (fourth box), to make it smoother.
