Openvibe & Windows 8

I tried to download openvibe but with Windows 8 it does not run. have you any information about this??

Hello ollyops,

unfortunately Windows 8 is not a supported operating system. There are no near-term plans to support it.

I see the topic is quite old..could you solve it?
Actually I'm running openvibe on win 8.1 x64 and designer works fine (having some troubles with neurosky and acquisition server instead).

Hi Blub,

Windows 8 is not supported. The only way it will be supported is someone starting to do it. Presently Inria or the scientific community does not seem to need it, so the current plan is: Windows 8 will not be supported. This may change in time.

If someone from the community contributes patches to this end, they are of course welcome (but please see the contribution rules).
