Dear all,
I have problems getting some things to work. First, 3D and 2D topographic map does not work. The 2D image does not appear until I drag another window over its window, and keep static after that. The 3D shows a human head, which I can rotate, but else nothing changes. I don't know if it's related, but also the tie fighter demo doesn't work. It crashes when I launch it. Please help meeeee!!!

Re: problems with tie fighter and 3d and 2d topographic map
Hi ermerson,
Are you using a VM ?
If not, what OS are you on and which openvibe version are you using ?
I just checked topographic maps and tie-fighter demo on my win 7 / openvibe 0.9.0 and it works fine.

It reminds us a problem we had when testing the topographic maps through a virtual machine. It may also cause the Tie-fighter demo crash...First, 3D and 2D topographic map does not work. The 2D image does not appear until I drag another window over its window, and keep static after that. The 3D shows a human head, which I can rotate, but else nothing changes.

Dear emerson,
the last message you posted also looks like some problem we had with Visual Studio service packs not being updated. What version of Visual Studio are you using to compile OpenViBE ?

Re: problems with tie fighter and 3d and 2d topographic map
I've tried the topographic scenarios examples and they work, thus it's a problem with the scenarios I've made.

No VM. The tie fighter problem also happened in my VM's when I first tried, but now I use windows installed through bootcamp. It happens in both Windows XP SP3 and Windows 7.

It's a VS 10.0.30319 RTMRel
Any test you want me to do in my machine?

Re: problems with tie fighter and 3d and 2d topographic map
Dera emerson,
if the sample scenarios are working, then the problem most probably from the input data.
Would you share your scenario and some data files w/ us ?

Re: problems with tie fighter and 3d and 2d topographic map
Yan,
I just dropped it! Now I'm moving to Ubuntu and I'm getting some problems compiling openvibe. I'll post my problems under the right place.
Thanks,
emerson
