How Can process EEG signal in OpenVibe?

Hi every one,
I am a beginner in OpenViBE.
Recently I start a thesis on BCI. Here I want to use OpenVibe Software but face some problem.
I can easily Visualize EEG signal using .gdf File. But I do not understand how can I use or process this signal for next step of my thesis.
For example

Suppose my thesis on this task
“ If human’s hand move to right site Then my computer cursor moves right position of monitor .”
Here suppose I get Brain signal of hand movement as .gdf File and visualize it in OpenViBE Software.
But my problem is
1. How can I compare this signal that hand position is right or left???
2. How can I compute or Process Then part of my Thesis.
Please replay something as soon as possible who are interested in this field.
