motor-imagery scenario

Post by yannick »

Hi,

i test this scenario and i have serveral questions to understand the method.
In fact, i would like to know:

1) What's kind of cartography have you used in this scenario?
2) what are the instructions that you have used in this scenario?
-The subject must only imagine the hands movements or move them before?
3)For train the classifier, you have recorded the signals in a file or train it in live ( without signals's file)?

4) What's the goal exactly of the bci-motor-imagery.ov?

Sorry if my questions are strange but i am trying to understand speedly the openvibe software.

Thanks

Dear yannick,

I don't understand this question

The instructions were to imagine hand movements such as clenching. It should work even better with real movements but this is not very interesting in real life.

we train the classifier offline, see the video tutorials this is explained

See the Generic Stream Writer box and the Generic Stream Reader box for a hint.

Your questions just keep me thinking you don't dig in the documentation at all. Speedly understanding openvibe / brain computer interfaces is pointless. These technologies are complex involving multidisciplinary knowledge. You definitely need to read existing documentation / publications to understand the basis, at least watch the videos.

Hope this helps,
Yann
