OpenViBE 3.5.0 released

Post by Thomas »

We are pleased to announce the release of OpenViBE-3.5.0 (download).

This release brings a NEW Driver:
  • Shimmer3 GSR+ physiological sensor
As long as some updates and fixes:
  • BrainProducts actiCHamp driver setting interface fixed
  • ANTNeuro EEGO SDK updated to support the EEGO mini-series 24 channel
  • TemporalFilter Box parameters checks improved
  • UnivariateStatistics Box output format fixed
  • FeatureAggregator Box input-chunk time checks reduced
For the full list of udpates and fixes, please have a look at the changelog on gitlab changelog.

We would like to thank:
  • BrainProducts for their useful feedback and support on the update of the LiveAmp and actiCHamp drivers.
  • ANT Neuro for their support in the upgrade of the EEGO SDK.

This release will be the last to support the 32bits architecture:
The main reason to keep maintaining the 32 bits version of OpenViBE is the access to some drivers for which no 64bits version is available.
However, the OpenViBE AcquisitionServer is compatible across versions and we are not planning to change this, so it will still be possible to benefit from the 32bits AcquisitionServer drivers with the newer versions of the Designer (even in 64bits).

In parallel to the developments of this release, we have started working on porting the OpenviBE interfaces from GTK2 to Qt.
Stay tuned for more info on this topic in the coming months.

As always, any feedback is more than welcome.

On behalf of the development team,
Thomas
