Re: stimulation based epoching
Dear Nicolas, one of your trace message comes from a stimulation listener box, the other one from a stimulation based epoching. It is not guaranteed how those two boxes are scheduled if you did not set their priorities manually (which I doubt as this functionality is not currently exposed to the Des...

Re: Box for artifacts removal
Dear Toncho,
I know people using OpenViBE working on artifact removal algorithms but nothing is planed for now.
Stay tuned or maybe contribute ?

Laurent,
actually, the generic file reader will try to match type before position, so it will take the first signal stream and discard the other two

Re: realtime and delay
Dear Amelie, dear Dieter, thank you for pointing out this challenging question, and thank you Dieter for pointing out the discussion we had some time ago about P300 detection. The point is that as soon as the data come inside the designer, the time is simulated realtime. The good thing with such app...

Re: trouble building openvibe on linux
Nicolas, the file at ftp://ftp.cs.unc.edu/pub/packages/GRIP/vrpn/old_versions/vrpn_07_26.zip is the correct one. This file does not contain the following files : Archive: /home/nicolas/Bureau/openvibe2/openvibe/trunk/scripts/software/arch/vrpn_07_26.zip creating: vrpn_07_26/ inflating: vrpn_07_26/vr...

Re: stimulation listener vs/ signal display
Dear Nicolas,
there is indeed a problem in this stream. At least one of the stimulations comes twice with exactly the same date but in two different stream chunks.
Where do this stream comes from ? Is it directly from the acquisition client box ?
Best,
Yann

Re: trouble building openvibe on linux
Dear nicolasbruneau, thank you for your interest in OpenViBE and welcome on this forum. You obviously modified the dependencies installer so that it looks for VRPN on localhost, which obviously has a web server and serves an invalid (Windows ?) file. I suggest that you try with the original dependen...

Re: stimulation based epoching
Dear Nicolas,
can you tell me how close to the start the first stimulation comes ?
Are you using an offset so that you select signal before the actual stimulation ?

Re: Newbie question about neurosky
Dear Ann,
all of this is indeed possible with OpenViBE. I suggest you look at the 1h tutorial video, that will help you understanding how things could be done with OpenViBE.

Re: stimulation listener vs/ signal display
Dear nicolas, I would better trust the stimulation listener as the signal display is known to have a couple of issues with stimulation display. The problem is that you'd probably like to trust the signal display, right ? ;) Would you please dump the acquired streams in an OpenViBE file (not a GDF, a...

Re: type of sampling frequency
Dear Amélie, this was indeed a mistake at the very beginning of the developments. In other projects, sampling frequency is usually represented either as a a single integer that gives the time between two samples, or with two integers representing the sampling frequency but in the form of a fraction....

Re: Pendant EEG
Dear Jarrod, unfortunately, the Pendant EEG device is not yet supported by OpenViBE. If you have programming skills, you could ask the manufacturer of the device a Software Development Kit and develop a driver yourself ; that would of course be a nice contribution to the OpenViBE software. Hope this...

Re: Openvibe with neurosky mindset on linux
Dear kodda, thank you for your interest in OpenViBE and welcome on this forum. Sorry for late reply, I guess the team did not notice your message. The mindset API is only available for Windows at the moment. However, the communication protocol is documented and it is possible to implement it on Linu...
