Re: P300 speller: Modify how the alphabets flash

Hi jlegeny Thank you very much for your response. I plan to modify the function _cache_for_each_if_ so that it takes the flashing pattern as an input instead of iLine and iColumn. The setting should be (from Line 687 of ovpCBoxAlgorithmP300SpellerVisualisation.cpp) void CBoxAlgorithmP300SpellerVisua...

P300 speller: Modify how the alphabets flash

I would like to modify how the alphabets flash. In the P300-speller with xDawn, every alphabet in the same row or column flash simultaneously e.g. the alphabets A, B, C, D, E, F which lie in the first row flash simultaneouly and so on with other alphabets in other rows/columns. Let's call this Row/C...

Re: P300 flashing sequence modification

I found this link viewtopic.php?f=3&t=329 and not sure if this is the one that I want. However, is there any tutorial or read-me file to explain the programming structure in the file 'ovpCBoxAlgorithmP300SpellerVisualisation.cpp'?

Thank you very much

Re: P300 flashing sequence modification

Thanks Laurent for a quick response. However, what I want to modify is how the alphabets flash, not the output sequence. In the conventional P300 scheme, alphabets are flashed in a row/column scenario e.g. every alphabet in the row 'A B C D E F' flash simultaneously. Can I modify the flash such that...

P300 flashing sequence modification

Dear all I've tried P300-speller with xDAWN using row-column (RC) flashing and everything works fine (so far). I'd like to know how to modify the flashing sequence such that only specified letters are flashed. For example, from P300-speller, instead of the row 'A B C D E F' flashing, how to modify t...

Re: Help with motor imagery

Hi Laurent

Thank you very much for your information. I downloaded and installed openvibe-0.11.0 in my windows XP machine. How to connect my Emotiv headset with the Acquisition server since I don't see EPOC emotive in the list of the driver?

Thank you

Help with motor imagery

Dear all I'm using Emotiv headset and working on the motor imagery scenario. I started from motor-imagery-0 file to monitor the signal status, then with motor-imagery-1 file to collect some training data. However, when I tried motor-imagery-2 to train the LDA classifier using the data obtained when ...

Replace the letters in P300 application with pictures

Hi I'm working on P300-speller-xDawn application using Emotiv headset. I'd like to replace the letters in P300 spelling box with pictures (say D:\Pic\snoopy.jpg) by modifying the file p300-speller.ui. Based on the quote 2. It is possible, you will have to edit the .ui file in Glade Interface Designe...

Re: [Error] <xDAWN Spatial filter> -Bad matrix size

Great ! How many letters do you manage to detect successfully ? I got 10 out of 10 :). From one session to another, the electrodes may be in a slightly different position, thus the spatial filter need to be trained again. Even from one day to another, your "mental state" could be different from the...

Re: [Error] <xDAWN Spatial filter> -Bad matrix size

Dear Laurent Thank you very much for your helpful comments. It turns out that I've made a mistake when selecting data to train xDAWN spatial filter :(. After correcting and increasing the oversample factor from 1 to 4, I was able to get 75.27% classification rate and get very good results when tryin...

[Error] <xDAWN Spatial filter> -Bad matrix size

Dear all I'm a newbie to Openvibe and trying p300-speller-xDAWN. I use openvibe-0.10.0-svn2909-src with Emotiv headset. I followed the thread in http://openvibe.inria.fr/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=401 and got stuck in the training phase. When I started -4-online-xml, the log file showed that xDAWN f...
