Hello,
strictly technically you could extrapolate one electrode over the scalp but not in any meaningful way.

Re: How to trigger sound event based on eeg?
Hello,
you can use the Sign Change Detector combined with the DSP to get the threshold box functionality. After that simply connect the Sound Player box to it.

Re: Connecting Actichamp with OpenVibe for Motor imagery
Hello, this could be a problem with the scale. Could you try to remove the non-connected channels from the display? You can do this either by using a channel selector box prior to the display or by configuring the signal display box and removing the unused channels from the list of channels. Regards...

Re: Mitsar 201 with OpenViBE?
Hello Russell,
not having the device or the SDK there is not much we can do here. Would it be possible for you to find somebody having the device and the means to write the driver for openvibe? We would gladly include it in our distribution after that.
Regards
Jozef

Re: Building failed
Hello, officially we support neither Ubuntu 11.04 nor ARM architecture. Your error seems to be tied to the OGRE version you are using. The messageLogged function has changed signature around the 1.8 version of ogre. Please check that the signature of the function inside OgreLog.h (around line 91) fi...

Re: How to send messages to the console?
Hello Pedro, an easy way to display arbitrary messages would be to use the Lua stimulator box. Add an input to it via right click menu and use it with a simple script such as this: function initialize(box) end function uninitialize(box) end function process(box) while true do if (box:get_stimulation...

Re: Sending data from an external application
Hello rubai,
in order to use the VRPN connection class you will have to link your application to the vrpn.lib library. The library is located inside dependencies/vrpn/lib folder.
Cheers

Re: Synchronization in OpenViBE
Hello cmuehl, openvibe acquisition server has the possibility to receive software tags through the Interprocess Messaging API of Boost library. There is a short documentation and an example implementation here: http://openvibe.inria.fr/send-stimulations-from-your-application-to-the-acquisition-serve...

hello MOD123,
could you be more specific please? Which tutorial did you try (sending data from or to openvibe)? What exactly did not work in your case?
Cheers

Re: Sign Change Detector
Hello hydrocity, what are you trying to achieve in your scenario? The sign change detector is one of the boxes which can trigger a stimulation. There are of course the classifiers, python and matlab boxes for general purposes. You can also send periodic stimulations with time stimulator. Cheers Jozef

Re: Sending External Stimulation
Hello benry, have you activated the External Stimulations inside the properties of the Acquisition Server? One way to debug this would be to activate Debug log level through openvibe.conf. The Acquisition Server displays a number of information concerning the external stimulations when the acquisiti...

Re: openVibe on a linux [ubuntu] embedded system
Hello luighi, currently the openvibe depends on several libraries which are probably not available on the embedded distribution. The full list of dependencies is here: http://openvibe.inria.fr/faq/#What+dependencies+will+be+installed+on+Linux+? Note also that a Raspberry might not be powerful enough...

Re: ssvep-scenario display problem
Hello, in Ogre there are several ways to set the VSync flag to synchronize the buffer swapping with the screen. (Setting in Plugins.cfg, setting when creating a new window, etc.) This setting however only works reliably on Windows when the application is run in fullscreen mode. On Linux, it is impor...
