Re: actiCHamp Timeout in OpenViBE 2.1

Thanks for the feedback! We currently have no resources to debug issues at Inria regarding drivers/devices that we don't ourselves use, but this might change in the future if the OpenViBE consortium launches. Before that, the best we can do is to include patches if anybody submits them. ps. the emai...

Re: Muse and OpenVibe 2.1.0

Hi, if we look just at the advanced python example, the issue seems to be this, # next make an outlet; we set the outgoing buffer size to 360 seconds (max.) and the transmission chunk size to 32 samples outlet = pylsl.stream_outlet(info,360,32) If you replace the 360 with 0, it starts to behave like...

Re: Inconsistent chunk dates warning for stimulations?

Hello Halsey, OpenViBE 2.x is much more strict about its conventions and tries to print warnings if they're not followed. This particular warning is because openvibe expects stimulation stream to be made of continuously stamped chunks. If there's no stimulation for some brief interval, it should sen...

Re: Tie Fighter Example - Getting Started

Hi, I can understand debugging that scenario is made more difficult since there's many different error-like utterances. First, I'd move "stimulation based epoching" before the "time based epoching" to get rid of the crucial error. The intended operation might change somewhat. The problem with the ol...

Re: actiCHamp Timeout in OpenViBE 2.1

This is a bit off topic, but it might be interesting to know that the certivibe project did not include acquisition at all. Acquisition Server and all device drivers were outside its scope. For those interested, the actual scope can be seen in the structure of the gitlab code repository: sdk is firm...

Re: actiCHamp Timeout in OpenViBE 2.1

Hello,

we don't unfortunately have the device at Inria so we cannot test it, and I hear the support contract between Mensia and Brain Products has expired. Have you asked the manufacturer if they have an idea?

Thank you very much! I made the post sticky so it stands on the top while we don't have official instruction for Fedora.

Re: Labstreaming Layer/ LSL4Unity

Hi, as far as I understand you'd want to send the predictions of the motor imagery online scenario (classifier processor box) to Unity. This could be done with various different ways, such as LSL, vrpn, or tcp writer. I think some users have managed to do it before (try google 'openvibe unity' or si...

Re: Add the g.tec driver

Hi, the situation is as follows on Windows & openvibe 2.1 (and earlier), - To use gusbamp with the pre-built acquistion server from the official openvibe install package, you will need the gusbamp operating system 'driver' installed beforehand. Its provided by gtec. The bitness of the OS driver must...

Re: using the Emotiv with openvibe

Another problem is that even though I managed to compile openvibe 1.3.0, 2.0.0 and 2.1.0 from sources on Win10 and during the build process the feedback Found Emotiv API, Found edk.lib appeared, the dropdown list from the acquisition server does not contain the Emotiv driver. Therefore, I can only ...

Re: Tie Fighter Example - Getting Started

Hi Gilles, great to hear you're getting closer to get the workshop pkg to work on ov 2.0! The issue you mention is probably due to the 'stop' stimulation field being empty in the sound player configuration. It seems the box requires a valid stimulation code specified in order to be happy. Cheers, Ju...

Re: Exporting resulting letters from P300 Speller to Process

Hi, sorry, maybe I misunderstood the question. You can rig FindThirdPartyLSL.cmake or similar file never to find LSL, that way nothing related to it will be compiled. After, you can simply pick up the dll that has the modified box and replace the original file from ov installer by that. Hope this he...

Re: how to detect strength of hand movement in the BCI scena

Hi, the classifier processor box returns additional outputs such as class probability that can be used as a strength guess. See the box manuals for trainer/processor boxes. In theory, if we knew the strength of each training trial, we could build a regression model predicting this strength, but unfo...

Hi, there could be a bug, will investigate. I've personally used gdf to transmit data to eeglab, perhaps you could try that?
