Re: GDF replay to XDF

Hi Thomas, Thank you for your answers. I'm using OV 3.1, and i will update it ASAP. I was doing the conversion as follows : - Replay GDF with OV - Record OV LSL streams with LabRecorder Do you have any clue about the scaling factor i should apply to get rid of these scale and offset ? Thanks for the...

GDF replay to XDF

Hi all, I'm recording my experiments with LSL (xdf data format) and I use GDF box as a back up file. For some reasons experimental reasons, I need to work with xdf files, so I only have to replay my GDF with OV and record it with LSL. This part is working properly. My problem is that it seems that t...

Ubuntu 20.04 build Error

Hi, I'm trying to build OV on Ubuntu 20.04 (Focal Fossa), as i saw on the forum that it was feasible. After dealing with install-dependencies issues (had to manually install git), i'v got somme errors during build.sh installation : CMake Deprecation Warning at CMakeLists.txt:3 (cmake_policy): The OL...

Python Box - Spectrum output

Hi all, I have a quick question about python scripting box : I'd like to make a spectrum stream as an output from my python box. Following tutorials on python box scripting (http://openvibe.inria.fr/tutorial-using-python-with-openvibe/) I was not able to know if it is feasible or not. Is it possible...

Re: Extracting Peak Alpha Frequency and IAF

Thank you for tour answer, I don't want to do anything as complicated actually. My need is pretty simple : to get the frequency at the maximum amplitude of a band of interest (Say alpha). When You close your eyes, your alpha oscillations are characterised by a clear peak between 8-12 hz. I want a wa...

Extracting Peak Alpha Frequency and IAF

Dear all, I'm sorry if this subject has already been treated, yet i found nothing on it. My question is pretty simple : i'm trying to find a way to assess peak alpha frequency in real time (frequency corresponding to max(pow) in alpha range), to use it as my main BCI parameter. Is there a function i...

Re: Acquisition server and LSL with 2 different PC

Dear Thomas,

I'm running 2 Windows 10 PCs.

For the firewall, all I can say is that lsl communication between the 2 pc is working fine both for writing or reading stream on one or the other.

Thanks for your help !

Re: Acquisition server and LSL with 2 different PC

Thanks for your reply ! First, I need 2 pc so that subjects can realize the cognitive task (say Oddball) while experimenters may run real time analysis on another computer without disturbing the cognitive task. As i said, my 2 computer are linked by a simple ethernet connection. LSL communication in...

Acquisition server and LSL with 2 different PC

Hi everyone, I'm new here and with OV, i'm trying to set up P300 experiments with OV for real time BCI. I'm using a Brain Product EEG device and Psychopy to run a classical oddball task. Everything is synchronized via LabStreamingLayer (LSL). I have one computer on which I'm running Psychopy, and th...
