Re: Support for Emotiv's EPOC+
i had these on another computer, but these are ancient and maybe only working with old headsets (not sure now), so chances are not very good anyways to get it running. So go for the reverse engineering method or their subscription services. Oh and while you are on that topic, write emotiv a complain...

Re: Emotiv EPOC+ Raw Data
It is a hazzle trying to get a grasp on Emotiv Software... I'll try to summarize what I remember after all these years: In the past there have been Community SDKs and Advanced / Research / Developer / Premium SDKs (they renamed it frequently). There have also been Community EPOCs (hardware locked) a...

Re: Statistics Debug Scenario
Hello Jussi, thanks for your quick review. (1) I am not sure, but I had suggested that computing the Amplitude from a raw discrete signal [ (Magnitude/)Amplitude = (|x| / 2) ? ] should in some way be similar to calculating the overall amplitude of the whole frequency spectrum with the FFT [ Amplitud...

Re: About Epoch average
Maybe your input is considered as one continuous Epoch and the box is waiting for the second epoch? ^^

Statistics Debug Scenario
Hi, I made a debug scenario to compare different (cumulative / real-time) Descriptive Statistics (Mean, Variance,...) Calculation Methods in openvibe and to crossvalidate the results with other programs (SPSS and EEGLab). Mainly I wanted to compare the DSP Raw Signal Results with the FFT Results. Th...

Export of final / single results
Hi, if I want to Export 'results' of an analysis - like the last row of a cumulated real-time analysis - is there a straight-forward proper solution within openvibe? I had the idea of setting up a clock stimulator with a stream switch and a file writer to capture the data when a recording reaches th...

Re: Support for Emotiv's EPOC+
I guess so, the Emotiv Insight should work too, because it uses the same SDK which now works with openvibe 1.3 I mean, you can get Raw Data from Emotiv Products anyway, if you pay enough.. nowadays emotiv policy is a subscription model and newer hardware might be locked to the emotiv cloud, so they ...

Re: individual upper alpha neurofeedback via openVibe
this sounds nice, I am very interested in your scenario, would you mind posting your progress? isn't individual Alpha Peak Frequency training (iAPF) developed in the netherlands https://www.brainclinics.com/ ? By Arns et al.? (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3419351/ , ...) What electro...

Re: Support for Emotiv's EPOC+
xD at first I thought, 'Oh wow, they have thrown out the Gamer-Headset and just provide one basic Research Headset' But then EPOC+ (799 $) Description: "Provides access to dense array, high quality, raw EEG data with software subscription." "Need access to raw EEG data? Add Pure.EEG" -> Montly subsc...

Re: Support for Emotiv's EPOC+
hello @lbatistic to clear things up a little, because I spent way too much time with that topic. To make it short, your hardware isn't yours anymore (see Tiwoisation). The community sdk most likely does not work with openvibe due to following reasons: (1) openvibe cannot use the closed-source algori...

Re: About interfacing of openvibe with brainmaster
Brain Avatar is a therapeutic eeg-analysis software where you can essentially automatically compare to a database, build protocols and train these Openvibe is essentially the same, but a lot more things have to be done manually, so the overall process is a little sketchy (but transparent!) I think t...

Re: Support for Emotiv's EPOC+
@jtlindgren no I mean, 1.0.0.5 was by far the most stable and 1.0.0.4 always crashes ;) the thing is, loading 3.3.3 directly never works. even selecting the x86 Folder directly, does not work! Preloading 1.0.0.5 EDKs and then selecting the folder of 3.3.3 (even without selecting 32/64 subfolders) se...
