Reusing an existing driver - which one to choose
Hello, I am planning to develop a small acquisition device (fNIR device) and would like to interface it with Openvibe. As the device doesn't exist yet, I am free to choose any protocol (over serial port). Is there any preferred choice ? I was thinking in reusing OpenEEG protocol, as it would probabl...

Re: openVibe on Mac
Hi, Here is the patch file. As you will see, the changes are very llight: - moved system/Time.h to system/ovTime.h (apparently a conflict with time.h happened, I suppose this is due to mac os using clang instead of gcc) - a few additions to the cmake modules (missing dependencies) - excluded project...

Re: openVibe on Mac
Hi Jussi, Changes are rather light - I'll try to provide a patch based on the latest GIT version (I started from the 0.18 zip bundle). I played with both the acquisition-server and the designer, and everything seems to be working ok. The only thing I could not compile is the P300Stimulator in contri...

[STICKY] openVibe on Mac
Hi,
I managed to compile openvibe on my mac yesterday.
It was a bit tricky, but the changes I made are quite limited.
Do you still have interest in including mac support ?
Guillaume

Re: Communication protocol of OpenEEG Modular EEG P2
Hi, I intend to do something similar. I have built an Arduino based EEG device, and I know need to get the data into OpenVibe. I was thinking of implementing in the device the same serial protocol as OpenEEG (no reason to multiply the number of protocols in OpenVibe). In the source package, there is...

Re: Trouble with Olimex EEG-SMT
Hi Riccardo, I would like to try Olimex-SMT device, but I would rather have some feedback before buying it. What kind of electrodes are you using ? Do they require any gel ? I would rather have dry electrodes, but I don't know where to buy / how to build them. Olimex is also selling electrodes, are ...

Re: Seeking advice on hardware, software; biofeedback possib
Hello Chris,
I am starting to look for similar things - though still a newbie.
Did you have any success in making Olimex's device work with openvibe ?
How useful is it for your use ?
Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Regards
Guillaume
