Re: Neurofeedback modules

Hi Yann and Marco, many thanks for your answers. When I say FOSS I mean "Free Open Source Software". Regarding what is Neurofeedback, the answer could be seen in this video: What Is Neurofeedback ? - EEG INFO Videos http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t6XeCwFQrCA About the BioExplorer designs: Using Medi...

Neurofeedback modules

Hi Yann I read your blog and the thread about the good use of the “Run Command” box I would like to know if this applies to typical neurofeedback sessions in which someone trains a specific frequency ratio with the audiovisual stimuli. Secondly, do you know if from the side of OpenVibe or some of th...

Re: The accuracy of moving things by thought

I was thinking that you could use the EOG (eye blink) as a trick for stopping action or making the avatar advance steadily instead of the visual cues of the museum (those color bars that appeared later so that he would not get so tired when moving). Not sure what you mean here, sorry. Can you expan...

The accuracy of moving things by thought

Hi Yann: I currently do not have a multi channel eeg but maybe will next year. I saw the 10 minutes OpenVibe video regarding the "3 direction" detection using the OpenVibe (left, right and forward). According to your experience, could you please answer these questions? 1) How accurate is the OpenVib...

Re: CSV export

Hi I guess what you mean is an issue related to opening a CSV file with an external software like Excel or Access? If such is the case I would suggest the following. Instead of opening the CSV file directly by double clicking on the file icon, first open the software (like Excel or Calc). Then, from...

Re: Sample scenarios

Hello, I'm sorry Yann, I had not understood what you meant by saying "GDF file", as this is all more or less new for me

Well, now I did what you said and loaded another GDF file that now works excellent both with realtime 2D/3D

Thanks for the patience!

Re: Sample scenarios

Hello Yann

I don't know why is this. The other files work fine. I was jus wondering how is that it would be the 2D/3D scenario.

Re: Sample scenarios

Hello again Yann I currently do not have a multi channel EEG, just a one with a single channel, but I am trying to look at the sample scenarios in the meantime. They all work well, except for the last one, the 2D/3D, and would like to know whether it may be because the sample is older than the curen...

Re: QEEG Analysis for future development?

Dear Marco: Thank you very much for your answer. I'm glad to know that you in Open Vibe have this spirit of collaboration in the field. I'm sure that there are other institutions and people with the same colaboration spirit and from this it can be created a better future of powerful, but low cost EE...

Re: QEEG Analysis for future development?

Thank you very much Yann for your kind response, I understand that you may be very busy with your team at this early development stage of Open Vibe. Regarding myself, I'm not a medical scientist either, just someone with knowledge about database analysis only, and actually in other field of work, bu...

QEEG Analysis for future development?

Hello, I'm new here. I hope this is the right place for making these questions. Thanks for writting this great software. I would like to know the following. In the wiki page it is said that this software will enable "new techniques for processing and identification of cerebral data based on neurophy...
