Oops, sorry, didn't check throughyrenard wrote:Dear ariandy,
this code is surely available as part of the official VRPN package !
Just look at the vrpn/client_src folder in the vrpn_07_15.zip archive
Hope this helps,
Yann
Thanks BTW

Re: connection between OpenVibe
Dear yannick, here is the sample program. For your information, you can find its sources from the standard VRPN release 07.13 (It should still be present in more recent releases). You should use it in a console this way : vrpn_print_devices peripheral_name@host_name e.g. vrpn_print_devices openvibe...

Re: About Classifier Trainer Box
Dear ariandy, Well, my feeling is that those performances are almost the same :) Ah, yes you right.. I can't tell, this just reflects that the classifier had better performances classifying feature vectors which it wasn't trained on. Statistically, it should be able to to classify the future featur...

Re: About Classifier Trainer Box
Dear ariandy, indeed, you can test different values for the partition number in the K-fold test. But generally, you will end with an almost optimal value between 3 and 10 partitions. I'm not sure from your feedback whether the documentation of the box was clear or not. However, you should probably ...

Re: About Classifier Trainer Box
Dear Yann, Laurent, I have additional questions regarding this box. Now it's about number of partitions for K-Fold Test. I've test my EEG recording with various numbers of partitions from 3 to 10, and different partition gives different classifier performance. In a simple way, in order to get the be...

Displaying epoched signal
Dear OpenViBE developers, I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, is it possible to display epoched signal? If its possible, where exactly I can tap input for Signal Display Box? I'm learning how randomly-looked EEG signal transforms step by step until it can be recognised (feature extracted), from ...

Re: The accuracy of moving things by thought
Hello. I don't know well (Yann should :D ) but I think it's OK with only C3 and C4. Adding electrodes on neighbour position (C1/C2, FC1/FC2) can help but in most case C3/C4 are sufficient. Currently I only have access to 2 channel EEG hardware, and upgrading is not really an option right now. Any s...

Re: The accuracy of moving things by thought
Dear Yrenard, The accuracy mostly depends on the ability of the subject to generate discriminable brain activity. Trained subject will have better separation while new comers will have difficulties. People in our lab are using motor imagery only for experiments, a few times a year. We usually have t...

Re: About Classifier Trainer Box
yes, you can. If so, the training process will rely on the first-half part of the EEG data. When the train trigger is detected by the classifier trainer, the file reading is paused, and the trainer box do its job with the data it received so far. When the training is done, the EEG file reading is r...

Re: About Classifier Trainer Box
Dear Laurent, Thank you for your fast response and clear explanation, it helps me understanding the process. I used the GDF file reader box, but I didn't stop my EEG recording session right after my XML stimulations over, so maybe about last half of my GDF file is mostly unused. And I didn't knew th...

About Classifier Trainer Box
Hello. I have several question about using the Classifier Trainer Box. In Classifier Trainer Box, the parameter for "Train Trigger" is by default set to "OVTK_StimulationID_EndOfFile". From the documentation, this is stimulation to trigger the training process. So if I want to train for a Motor Imag...

Re: Sample scenarios
Hello, I'm close to accidentally click "Post new topic" until I found this thread  In OV new release (0.4.0 rev 1737), where is sample scenarios located? I looked into dist/share/ but no "openvibe-scenarios" like in previous version. I search for xml files using linux find, also no result. :?:

Re: Compatible with ModularEEG (P2 format) ???
It says on the website that the ModularEEG is currently being integrated in OpenVibe. Does anyone knows if this has been accompliahed? Does OpenVibe now works with the ModualrEEG? Also, I'm looking to use EEG signals to control a robot. I'll probably need to program a PIC micrcontroller with the EE...

Re: Installation error when running linux-build
Thanks for your support, but it seems the problem is on my ubuntu setup. Now OpenVibe runs well on fresh ubuntu installation, so instead of tinkering with OV installation problem i rather use my time to study more about biofeedback and BCIs. And this thread is closed. Thank you. And congratulation f...
