Re: Running the Designer via cmd
Dear Dan, maybe you should use the equal sign between the token name and the token value as is defined in the configuration files : --define myFile=C:/temp/some.file if your file name has spaces or special characters, then you can use double brackets like in : --define "myFile=C:/temp/some filename ...

Re: OpenViBE built for Brain Products’s, how can i run Linu
Dear Giulo, thank you for your message. The Brain Products devices do not have drivers for platforms other than Windows, thus the OpenViBE for Brain Products package is only built for the Windows platform. That said, it is always good to report such feedback to your suppliers. If enough Brain Produc...

Re: EGI Net Amps 300 driver
Dear Lena, looking at the 0.16.0 source archive, it turns out that the driver source code is present in the core platform, but is not declared in the ovasCAcquisitionServerGUI.cpp file ; I believe this is a mistake due to the source tree reorganisation. This might hopefully be fixed in 0.17.0, meanw...

Re: Failed to create VRPN analog server
There is indeed a hard-coded maximum size for VRPN servers, this limitation comes from VRPN and has been preserved for better compatibility with other VRPN based applications. If this is too annoying, you can change this in VRPN source code and recompile it along to OpenViBE.
Hope this helps,
Yann

Re: P300 Speller xDAWN with Emotiv EPOC
Dear Sam, I see three interesting things you should think of: 1- you should be aware that the P300 wave is best catched on the mid-line between Pz and Fz through Cz. Most setup also include half a dozen of electrodes on the parieto/occipital locations as the visual stimulus gives pretty strong repon...

Re: A suitable application of OpenVibe?
Dear Peter the porti32 and nexus32 are identical devices. the nexus32 driver has been built by mindmedia in 2006 or so. it might be possible to have a new build along to the latest TMSi SDK from them if needed. the refa32 driver has been built by bpayan at Inria in 2009 or so. it might be possible t...

Re: A suitable application of OpenVibe?
Dear pwsnow, the TMSi Porti32 device works perfectly well with OpenViBE, and it has already been used at Inria for EMG recording, no crazy idea here... As to the classifcation of EMG, you will likely have to create dedicated processing pipelines, the classifier is not alone for this task and differe...

Re: Sending External Stimulation
Dear benry, thank you for your feedback, I would like to ask one thing about what you did : can you check or at least, do you believe that you must use the same version of boost as is used in the acquisition server for your own stimulation program to behave correctly with OpenViBE ? Thank you very m...

Re: Classification error
Dear Lorena, for debugging purpose, the EBML stream spy and the stimulation listener boxes are always a good choice. If something goes out of the preceeding box, you will know for sure. Once you're sure something goes out, we can investigate why the Graz viz box does not display it. As far as I reme...

Re: Classification error
For debugging purpose, the EBML stream spy will perform an all types of stream and decode their content to the log manager (be it in the console or in the embedded widget of the designer)
I hope this helps,
Best regards,
Yann

Re: Classification error
Dear Lorena, I suspect the train stimulation is never sent to the CSP Filter Training box (do you get the stimulations from the last recorded session ?). You might want to tune your stimulation choice in the training box settings - or - switch to a manual triggering of the stimulation with a Keyboar...

Re: Classification error
Dear Lorena, it is true that the Emotiv device is not very suitable for motor imagery as it does not really cover motor cortices. This said, the CSP algorithm generates a spatial filters that maximizes the detection of the two classes. At worse, it will perform as good as a Laplacian that is entered...

Re: Stimulations modification
Dear Lorena, the settings of the stimulator define the way events in the experiment are scheduled. For instance, it defines the number of trials, that is the number of time you will have to perform imagined left or right hand movement. It also defines the duration of the baseline, that is the time b...
