Need help VRPN JAVA-howto receive stimulation from Java code
dear all.. I have been trying to develop a car driving simulator (to monitor driver's brain activity). when the car collide wih obstacle, it has to send stimulation data to Openvibe, so we can record the precise time when the collision occur. I have download the vrpn 07.30 , compile it, and succeed ...

Dear fabien.lottefabien.lotte wrote:
To do so you have to use Java, since there is a VRPN library for java (which comes with the C++ VRPN library in the official package).
where to download the library?

Re: Calculating Alpha, Beta, Delta, Theta w. Emotiv
Dear all I still confuse about how to remove noise on EEG signals. currently I am using EMOTIV device. does it mean Spatial Filter box will remove noise? I thought it only generates a number of output channels from another number of input channels? sorry for my lack knowledge about EEG signal proces...

how to write the output of Spectrum average box into csv?
Dear all. I would like to explain the scenarion first: 1. acquisition client (neurosky mindwave mobile) 2. channel selector --> raw signal (electrode) 3. time based epoching 4. spectral analysis - GPL 5. frequency band selector (alpha 8-12) 6. spectrum average ( i want to get the values average of a...

Dear jlindgren
thanks a lot
I will try to use the Signal Decimation box, with decimation factor = 512 (to reduce sampling rate 512 into per second)

How to record Neurosky signals without repeating @ 512 times
Dear all.. I have succeed to record all signals from Neurosky (raw data, alpha beta, etc) using Openvibe into csv file. However, when I open the csv file it seems that all signals, other than the raw electrode signal, are being written 512 times repeatedly the same values. I guess it is because the ...

which BCI sample scenarios could be run using EMOTIV device?
Dear all.. Openvibe provide 9 BCI sample scenarios (handball, motor-imagery, motor-imagery-CSP, neurofeedback, p300-magic-card, p300-speller, p300-speller-xDAWN, ssvep, tie-fighter). I was wondering, which one could be run using EMOTIV device? I am planning to buy EMOTIV EEG to be able to study BCI ...

Dear all.. I was planning to spend 750USD to buy emotiv eeg (research edition), because I need to upgrade from Neurosky Mindwave Mobile which only has 1 electrode. I thought it would give a good results since it has 14 electrodes. I still don't understand why you think Emotiv device is not "good eno...

which acquisition device is best for research in drowsiness?
Dear all.. I own a Neurosky mindwave mobile. My boss asked me to buy a new EEG acquisition device for our research (drowsiness during car driving). He said Neurosky mindwave mobile is not enough (because only have 1 electrode) so, what is the best choice for me? PS: we cannot afford expensive stuffs...

I Need Sample scenario/data-sets= OpenVibe+NeuroSky Mindwave
Dear friends. I am newbie. I was wondering whether there is any sample scenario/data-set of Openvibe implementation using Neurosky Mindwave (especially Mindwave Mobile) ? As far as I know, all of sample scenarios/data-sets included in Openvibe are using Emotiv Epoc (CMIW). Because I don't have Emoti...
