OpenViBE MATLAB Filter to Arduino
We want to send the classification output computed from EEG signals in the bci_Process function of the MATLAB filter to an Arduino board. We are unable to receive the output (a single value +1/-1) on the Arduino COM port on which we created the connection. Here is the code we are using: function [ma...

This would require building from sources? It doesn't seem to be part of the binaries of Openvibe 0.17.

Re: Connecting OpenVibe with BCILAB using labstreaminglayer
We managed to setup OpenVibe 0.17 with the GIPSA extension 2.1 compatible with this version. However, we are not able to "connect" and "play" the Actichamp with the OpenVibe Acqusition Server. The following is the error log: [ INF ] Connection succeeded ! [ INF ] Starting the acquisition... [ INF ] ...

Analysis of EEG data for fist clench movements
Hi, We invite comments/suggestions on the videos of scalp maps generated from EEG signals for left and right fist clench movements for trials in various frequency bands uploaded here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_3QGmNvKq-k_2zmlmL69wQ/playlists?view=1&flow=grid . We had recorded EEG signals us...

Verification of EEG signals
Hi, We had recorded EEG signals using the Actichamp System and OpenViBE Acquisition server. We would like comments on the recorded EEG signal which can be viewed in EEGLAB as to whether: a) The signal is standard EEG or noise. b) Can this recording be used for further analysis for the paradigm descr...

Connecting OpenVibe with BCILAB using labstreaminglayer
Hi, We wanted to use EEG data recorded from the BrainProducts ActiChamp EEG system for online analysis in BCILAB. http://sccn.ucsd.edu/wiki/BCILAB Apparently, this can be done using Lab Streaming Layer https://code.google.com/p/labstreaminglayer/ . LSL provides a version of the OpenVibe Acquisition ...

Activation Paradigms for Mental Tasks based BCI
There are several papers which build BCI systems that use mental tasks as activation procedures. These include the following: Geometric Figure Rotation:-The subject was given 30 seconds to see a complex three dimensional object, after which the object was removed. The subject was instructed to visua...

Re: [STICKY] Gipsa-lab OpenVibe extensions
There seems to be an issue with using the GIPSA extensions for OpenVibe with the BrainProducts ActiChamp EEG amplifier. After installing the GIPSA extensions, using the executable gipsa-setup-main-1.6.exe, if we run the OpenVibe acquisition server, the BrainProducts ActiChamp does not appear in the ...

Re: Tie-Fighter online
Hi I wanted to know how can the tie-fighter scenario be used online? I tried connecting the acquisition client, but am still unable to run the scenario online. I am using OpenVibe 0.15 and the tie-fighter-freetime scenario provided with it. When I run openvibe-vr-demo-tie-fighter executable, after s...

Re: [STICKY] Gipsa-lab OpenVibe extensions
There seems to be an issue with using the Brain Invaders game and GIPSA Lab extensions for OpenVibe when using the BrainProducts Actichamp amplifier ( http://www.brainproducts.com/productdetails.php?id=42&tab=3 ) for EEG signal acquisition. This amplifier uses PyCorder ( http://www.brainproducts.com...

Repositioning Emotiv Electrodes to cortical region for MI
We are working on building a motor imagery based BCI system. At the moment, we are constrained to use the Emotiv Headset as our acquisition device. Going through available literature, we infer that the Emotiv system is sub-optimal in capturing motor imagery EEG due to absence of electrodes in the co...

Connecting Actichamp with OpenVibe for Motor imagery
We are using the Actichamp amplifier with the following electrodes connected: 8, 24, 25, 11, 12, 23, 22, 6, 7, 29, 28, and GND. These correspond to channels C3, Cz, C4, CP5, CP1, CP2, CP6, FC5, FC1, FC2, FC6. We use OpenVibe Acquisition Server to acquire EEG from the amplifier, and view the EEG sign...
